Matthew’s Voice Project (MVP) is a nonprofit that assists unaccompanied, homeless and at-risk youth by providing basic needs to help them stay in school and ultimately graduate. MVP works with each school district’s Homeless Liaison to identify the most critical and personalized needs for students living in cars, shelters, couch-surfing or sharing space with multiple families.

MVP has identified their most critical needs as:

  • Monetary donations – Click the link and donate today! Please indicate that the donation is for NDASFAA for tracking purposes. You can add “NDASFAA” to the “add a note to your donation” section if paying by PayPal, the “what’s it for?” section if paying by Venmo or the “write a note (optional)” section if paying by debit/credit card.
  • Cash or check also accepted at the conference.
  • Hoodies or leggings in any adult size. A donation box will be available at the conference. Gently used hoodies and leggings in styles that teens will wear are accepted!
  • Gift cards (gas, restaurants, Target, Walmart, etc.)  will be accepted at the conference.
  • Cash, check, gift cards, and clothing donations accepted at the philanthropy table during the conference.

Items most of us take for granted would not be available to students experiencing homelessness without the help of the community. NDASFAA is proud to partner with MVP to lift these students up and help them build a stronger future!
